Overcompensated Connecticut State Trooper cons Cape Codders into help... with summer cottage

Connecticut State Troopers were just skewered by the Hartford Courant, and the taxpayers that commented by the hundreds, for their absurd bonuses like paid meals and free uniform pick up and cleaning.

For instance, about 700 of Connecticut's 1,100 or so troopers were paid at least $80,000 during the past year, with 397 of them taking home more than $100,000, 46 receiving more than $150,000 — and five sergeants making more than $200,000, the highest at $233,566.

It's not about letting someone eat while they work, it's about paying for it with an allowance. They are being paid to feed themselves.

They are also being paid to save up for their summer housing. Instead, one made a mistake and used illness to bail himself out. This is a summer house. Remember that at all times.

This government and its Merck Nazis enlarged my heart to a near transplant and to 85 percent larger than the normal recorded months earlier, they caused me cardiomyopathy, vasculitis, a near bleed out, and neuropathy that was judged "chemical weapon" grade by the doctors in Boston. The head of the CDC that hunted me like a dog now is head of a department at Merck, and the doctors were all rewarded by Merck afterwards.

I had my life taken from me after my parents saved and nearly died thanks to this government and do-nothing police before, during and after, who just refused to deal with these people because it was over their stupid heads.

A dream for a getaway five years ago landed the family, who live in Connecticut, a decrepit cottage in Sagamore Beach.

The yellowing linoleum floors were peeling and the fireplace was crumbling.

The only heat was from a furnace whose vent sat in the middle of the living room, waiting for a match to be thrown down it as the cottage's former owner had done.

"We got in over our heads, there was no doubt about it," Packer said.

"They couldn't afford to move forward and they couldn't sell it," Michael Lahart of Mashpee's Pinsonneault Builders said. In the years since they bought the cottage, the Packer family watched as Lahart led a team of builders in renovating a larger house on the road to the beach.

In 2010, the family scrounged up enough for minor renovations and hired Pinsonneault Builders.

"We were just down to nothing for the girls to do back home. We needed this," Shortt said.

Rather than take the small amount of money from Packer and Shortt and then "just stopping," as the family asked, Lahart asked other contractors to pitch in and help transform the tiny cottage.

"I told them, 'You won't make any money, but you'll feel good,'" Lahart said. "And once you meet the kids, it's kind of hard to say no."

The price of the labor and materials is unclear.

"We weren't keeping track of it, to be honest with you," Lahart said.

But Shortt estimates they did three times the amount of work the family paid for.

Finished just two months ago, the space was transformed, with repurposed wood floors, whitewashed everything and a small bedroom and loft.

Why is a Connecticut State Trooper getting help ?

•Personal off-duty use of a state police vehicle, with all gas paid for by the state. Personal use is allowed both inside Connecticut and within an out-of-state perimeter whose limits include the Taconic State Parkway to the west and Massachusetts Turnpike to the north. Permission from commanders is required for more distant out-of-state personal use of cars. The roof bars of flashing lights are removable when off duty. Troopers must leave police radios on, in case they're called to duty.

•A daily meal allowance, typically ranging from $3,000 to more than $5,000 a year. This income can be counted in the calculation of their pensions when they retire.

•A $500-a-year "cleaning stipend" for many non-uniformed state police, including those with administrative desk jobs. Troopers who wear uniforms on duty have them cleaned at the state's expense by a service that picks them up.

I had to read a Connecticut State Trooper featured in an article that makes it sound like because your step-children have neuropathy, that you're entitled to free cottage remodeling ?

My injured mother's house is rotting, we were harassed for two years by the Fire Department and DPW in this town, and I have to read this ? I'd at least think the Fire Department morons would have had a little self control vis a vis the diagnosed bipolar nuts that live near us, when my great uncle was the Deputy Chief in West Hartford.

So I hope those protesters start swinging batons and pepper spraying back; if that doesn't work, I hope they lock and load.

The “water’s edge” is where the Oklahoma City investigation would stop too. Although the search was allegedly still on for the world’s most wanted man, John Doe #2—the “foreign looking” suspect multiple witnesses saw with McVeigh--Clinton Justice was not really looking.

Why worry about Libyan MANPADs ? CIA said TWA 800 was not a missile in its cartoon

The Daily Caller has published Free for all: Up to 20,000 anti-aircraft missiles stolen in Libya, which says in part:

A survey of weapon depots in Libya shows that up to 20,000 shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles are now missing, partly because President Barack Obama has refused to send troops to guard the weapons depots, according to a left-of-center advocate.

“We were quite disappointed after talking to administration officials … that nothing more was done, even about the [storage] facilities in Tripoli, which are unsecured now,” said Peter Bouckaert, director of emergencies at left-of-centre group Human Rights Watch...

“If these weapons get into the wrong hands, any civilian aircraft operating in the region will be threatened,” said Bouckaert, who has just returned from a visit to Libya.

The "region" ?

They'll move around as if they have legs, as the taxpayer funded sham operation Fast and Furious proved.

But why worry ? Their ceilings aren't high enough to stage another TWA-800.

Could it be that we are being lied to about the actual models that were stolen ?

The missing missiles are Russian-made SA-7s and SA-16s: Shoulder-launched missiles that can home into the hot exhaust trails from civilian and military jets. The SA-16 is only five feet long and weighs just 24 pounds.

A few of those types of missiles were used by al-Qaida’s allies in Iraq. Al-Qaida’s allies in Yemen have also showcased their possession of a number of the missiles.

In the last few weeks, Bouckaert said, administration officials have met to discuss the threat. “This has moved sharply up on Obama’s agenda,” partly because the administration-backed National Transitional Council can’t guard the weapons depots, he said.

“European intelligence agencies are also very concerned about these missiles, and they’ve been in contact with me,” he added. The European intelligence agencies “have a larger capacity on the ground [in Libya] because they’re not operating under the same restrictions that President Obama has placed himself in,” Bouckaert explained.

Well now. Despite protestations to the contrary and lame videos using blatant repetitve statements to work you over, dozens of witnesses including a Naval crew and a NY Air National guard crew with Major Meyer saw TWA 800 get shot down.

The video contended that what the witnesses saw was “a Boeing 747 in various stages of crippled flight.” Its producers wanted the audience to come away with one understanding. And this was underlined, literally, on screen:

The Eyewitnesses Did Not See a Missile.

The video climaxed with an animation purporting to show what the eyewitnesses did see. As seen in the CIA video, the nose of the aircraft blew off from an internal explosion.

TWA Flight 800 then allegedly “pitched up abruptly and climbed several thousand feet from its last recorded altitude of about 13,800 feet to a maximum altitude of about 17,000 feet." The CIA video claimed that this was what the eyewitnesses had seen--not missiles, but a rocketing, nose-less 747 trailing fire.

The amended suit addresses two startling new discoveries. One is that the CIA generated its zoom-climb calculations after it produced and showed its notorious video. The second is that the NSA originated, and now withholds under FOIA exemptions, a flight-path simulation, apparently the one that was the basis of the CIA's zoom-climb conclusion.

How do I know that ?

The way this government conveniently loses or sells such weapons, always leading to a new war to clear them out, and then sells them again as with the recent F-16 order to Iraq, makes it clear that it's all planned, and staged. They haven't even stopped all the attacks there yet, but there's Lockheed with its hand out.

Losing 20,000 MANPADs (and that's what they are though they're hoping you don't notice the link to older news) will no doubt help create new reasons to expend materiel killing those who use them, try or are reported by the government as trying.
